Blackberry 9780 with OS 7 is to Slow

The meat of OS7 is hardware acceleration and the 9780 doesn't have the hardware to enable it.

RIM should just release the devices running it and let the experience speak for itself. An OS is a piece of software, and if it is directly tied to hardware features it makes no sense for it to be a distinct version separate from the hardware it runs on. Overall, considering the OS Armageddon coming in the next year, this is a small detail.

9780 is awesome. OS7 will be buggy like all new phones with new OS's. (PlayBook!!!) I will rock my 9780 for another year or so then get a OS7 device and a bug free PlayBook and keep it moving. BB is the bomb, just not the first few months on the market....
